So here it is
After wanting a 911 since I was about 8 I managed to get the chance to get one - well a replica as genuine ones nowdays cost over £20k for a good one. After spotting one for sale I planned to pick it up from Bristol and here it is. The car was previously built in 2007 and had a 2 litre turbo Pinto engine in it pushing around 400bhp. The engine then had trouble (at this point i'm guessing the owner sold it). It was then bought by someone who was going to put a bike engine in it but I don't think they managed it so it was sold with no engine.
Tha car was then sold from someone on the Isle of Skye then was brought down to Bristol by it's last owner. It was intended to be used for track use and to be taken to shows as a sponser vehicle by Avon tyres. The last owner fitted an engine from an Alfa Romeo and put in a new gearbox from a 1600 beetle and a few other bits but had to sell the car due to a pay cut at work.
I then got the car an plan to finish it off. There is plenty of things I want to do so it should keep my occupied for a while. Here it is at home:
